Kayak through the Tennessee River Gorge with Outdoor Chattanooga and TRGT staff members. We will meet at the Raccoon Mountain Boat Ramp at 6:30 p.m. EST and kayak 4.4 miles to Sullivan's Landing. Outdoor Chattanooga will provide kayaks and life jackets. Participants will be shuttled back to their cars after we take out at Sullivan's Landing. This is a great paddling excursion for beginners, but all stages of experience are welcome!  

This tour is a wonderful way to view the gorge and experience the beauty of this fantastic place in our Chattanooga back yard. The paddle is 4.4 miles and is about 2 hours on the water. Outdoor Chattanooga will provide instruction, kayaks and life jackets, and the shuttle back to the cars at the put-in.   

All paddlers are asked to use Outdoor Chattanooga kayaks as this ensures that all paddlers travel at a similar speed and that the kayaks can be placed on their trailer.  

There are only 9 spots available and a waiting list will be started when necessary.
