The Tennessee Wall, colloquially known as T-Wall, is the most renowned climbing locale within the Tennessee River Gorge. It is a premier traditional climbing spot in the Southeast with 200 routes spanning two miles of sandstone bluff. T-Wall boasts roofs that challenge even the hardened trad climber and gets full sun year round, making it a great cold-weather crag.

The T-Wall parking, access trail and climbing bluff are owned by the Prentice Cooper State Forest. The belay trail is owned by the Tennessee River Gorge Trust. The Trust also holds a Memorandum of Understanding for the state-owned areas in which the State Forest agrees to consult with the Trust before taking major actions such as timbering, and to allow TRGT to improve access to the climbing wall.

Be sure to check Prentice Cooper hunting closure dates before visiting!!
