RiverRocks is a unique and distinctive outdoor festival celebrating the incomparable natural resources of the Tennessee Valley, the health benefits of an active, outdoor lifestyle, and the activities that they inspire. The festival will also highlight Chattanooga's commitment to environmental stewardship and land conservation.

Saturday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (FREE) - join us for the Tennessee River Rescue. Join more than 1,000 volunteers at one of 20-plus sites along the Tennessee River. You can come by foot or by boat! We'll work together to clean up the shoreline and banks. The Tennessee River Gorge Trust will host the rescue efforts embarking from the Suck Creek Boat Ramp. Saturday, October 2 from 1-4 p.m. - Photograph Nature with the Corys - $45 ($30 for Aquarium Members)
Professional nature and travel photographers, Tom and Pat Cory, will offer an entertaining, instructional presentation with hands-on photography in this workshop at the Pot Point Cabin. Photographers of all skill levels will enjoy capturing images of local flora and fauna. Bring your camera and other equipment, like tripod or scope. Adults only. Monday, October 4 at 9:30 a.m. (FREE) - Pot Point Nature Trail Hike and Open House at the Cabin
The Pot Point Nature Trail is a moderately strenuous 3.5 mile loop with some steep climbs to over 1,000 feet in altitude near Azalea Point. The trail traverses most of the habitats found in the Tennessee River Gorge with examples of flora and fauna around every bend. Meet at the Pot Point Cabin, 17805 River Canyon Road. Thursday, October 7 from 6-8 p.m. (FREE) - 20 Minutes and a Million Miles Away
This FREE family-friendly event will take place under the tent next to Outdoor Chattanooga in Coolidge Park. Join TRGT for free food provided by Taco Mamacita and 212 Market, music by the Bramble Roses, a falconry demonstration, and Gorge-related fun! Bring your family and friends to hear about the Tennessee River Gorge Trust's ongoing work, the critters who inhabit this protected land, and meet the people who make it happen! Friday, October 8 from 7-10 p.m. ($15 tickets) - Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival
The Tennessee River Gorge Trust invites you to the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Fest at the Tennessee Aquarium's Auditorium. Come laugh, cry and be amazed! These films will inspire you to act and to contemplate how your actions impact people and the environment, both close to home and across the globe.
